NOTES:
Finally worked out the hairstyling for this figure - found some stuff in a craft catalogue called figure wire - wire in a thick foam sleeve. Made a circle out of this, placed it atop Jean's head and wrapped the outer'rims' of her hair back over it (with the help of scissors and superglue). The rest (out of shot in these pictures) was then twisted into a bun and held in place with superglue. The dangly curly bits? Locks of Dark Phoenix cut off, wrapped around a cocktail stick (much sticky tape was used) and dunked in boiling water to set it.

Her boots were Storm's, cut down to size (using superglue to hold the stitching at the top) . Then cut out the front panel. Slipped the boots on her legs, held in place at the back with double-sided tape, and then the fronts laced up. To get the material matching, another pair of Storm's boots were opened up, cut down to size and used as gloves.

The Black Queen's basque was done in much the same fashion; back section with double-sided tape, side pieces super-glued to this and then the front laced.

Did my first ever custom lined cape...
... then did a second, much better one ;-) The Vision's cape was used as a pattern. The roses are little fabric ones I found at a Haberdashery store and she does actually have a whip too, but being black and in the shadow you can't see it (it's made from some leather thonging for beads)
