Base; Peter Parker

UT!
Got fed up waiting for the official action figure so decided to do my
own... another Peter Parker goes under the customising knife!
The white shirt and red trousers come from the wardrobe of Barbie's Ken
(many thanks to Glenda for supplying me with them). The trousers had to be
trimmed down and taken in. Likewise, the shirt's sleeves needed a bit of
adjusting too... at times I thought it might have been easier to make them
both from scratch!
Removed his feet, sculpted the flippers on with 'promat'/super sculpey.
Set them in boiling water. The trousers then went on before attaching his
feet/flippers again.
Then the carrot! It's actually made out of orange plasticine/modelling
clay. It was going to be a test run before turning to proper clay... but
it looked too good, and it seemed to 'set' firm enough so not to take
finger-prints, so I left it was it was. Come summertime and hot weather
I'll probably regret it! The eyes and a bit of detail were carved in and
then painted.

The flame? It comes from the Playmobil 'Firewizard' figure.
