SHIELD's premiere agent started off as a Peter Parker figure. Hacked his pointy chin off and sculpted on a new one. Also molded him some new hair and eyepatch. Then took a little pointy screwdriver (one of this customisers best friends; also use it for re-rooting and sculpting... and it came free too; one of those sets out of a Xmas cracker!) and made a little hole in the corner of his mouth making sure it would take a cocktail stick... and while that was in place I sculpted on a bit of new lip. Once all was dry I cut down the stick and turned it into one of Fury's cigars.
Costume time; the strapping was nice and easy to do; a 1.5"x5" (approx) piece of white PVC, backed with some double-sided adhesive. Then using a nice sharp craft knife and metal ruler I just sliced off the strips as required. Thicker white pleather and craft foam were used in places too... as were the circular 'washers' from a bag of soft-toy eyes! The brass belt buckle comes from Cotswold Collectables...
... as did his gripping hand and guns. Unfortunately the holstered gun isn't removable from its holster; if I'd gone that route (and using 12" scaled handguns) the holster would've been too large and bulky.
His shoulder insignia is a piece of black PVC with painted logo... which, like all the other paint-on-PVC sections, has been varnished to prevent the paint from rubbing off.
