Another Defender joins the ranks!
My mk.2 Valkyrie. Very similar to my first attempt, but with a few new tweaks. Re-rooted the Sue Storm head with longer blonde hair... but only partially; outter hairline and parting only - this way her plaits aren't too thick. Remember to save those little clear elasticbands that hold accessories to toys - they're very very useful; used several on Val to help with the hairstyling... and another to hold her weapons in her hand.
Also new this time; hemmed her cloak, trapping in there some wire to give it shape and hold more dramatic shapes. The cloaks clasps are new too - clear protective plastic pads from a hardware/DIY store.
The breast plates? Take a nude FC lass, apply sticky tape over her bust and mold your modelling material over that. Leave to set and then you should be able to ease them off... if you have trouble, soak the figure in water for a while to unsticky the sticky tape. BTW, the circular patterns in them were made with a variety of pen tops and suchlike.
Her collar is three pieces of flat plastic cording. The belt a strip of silver PVC with silver ribbon added for decoration. The buckle, several pieces of silver card. Arm & wrist bands - more silver PVC. Boot-strappings? Back to that flat plastic cording. Her sword's scabbard is made from plasticard, black vinyl and more silver PVC. The weapons themselves; the sword is from a Warcraft footsoldier while her spear (as seen in her firsr Defenders appearence) is scratch built from wooden dowelling and plasticard.
