At last, Toybiz give was a Wanda... unfortunately with a horrid solid mass of plastic hair. Thankfully it's removable leaving a blad bonce beneath. Wanda's headpiece saves any re-rooting; all that needs to be done is to find a donor dolly, cut off her scalp and nail/glue it to the Scarlet Witch's head. I this case I used the scalp from the curly-headed Power Rangers doll (with the edges of the cut vinyl painted brown). Then the headpiece had to be cut down a little round the back for it to fit... then out with a bit of superglue... and the end result was one (hopefully) improved Scarlet Witch who can now take her place with pride among the rest of the FC Avengers (and not fall over backwards because of the lump of hair!)
One final tweak, cannibalised my old Scarlet Witch custom for a spare, splayed 'spell-casting' hand.
