BASE FIGURE: Invisible Girl COSTUME: Handmade

NOTES: One of my favourite custom FC's. Based on the White Queen as she appeared(ish) in the Phoenix saga. Hands and feet had to come off (using a hairdryer to warm the plastic) to allow easy removal of her FF outfit and the sliding on of the WQ's boot and glove sleeves. I also took this opportunity to replace her right hand with a 'spell-casting' one off a spare Storm. Sue's hair was wash and blow-dried to help straighten it. It really needs cutting too, but I'm loathe to do that in case I screw-up; there's not really any going back with doll hair! The white basque was a slight pain to fit, but having done a couple of similar garments in the past (see also my Mirror Universe Capt. Beverly Howard and 12" Wynonna Earp) I knew it was possible. Just. Finally cracked the way to make a good cloak; this one hangs gar better than my previous attempts, and even has a fluffy feather boa collar (though next time I'll use fur - had to trim it down a bit and bits of feather are still floating around several weeks later!). The gemstone clasp comes from a bead-her-hair Barbie doll (who won't be needing such things in the Imperial Navy!)
